Griolladh is a contemporary Irish food brand redefining a familiar classic. With a growing network of restaurants across Dublin, Naas, Cork and Limerick, the business has established itself as a standout presence in Ireland’s casual dining landscape. Built on consistency, clarity of concept and a distinctive brand identity, Griolladh brings a refined approach to comfort food by combining quality ingredients, efficient operations and broad customer appeal in every location.
Who We Are
The story began in June 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when co-founders Jack and Jacob, two best friends temporarily out of work, decided during a phone call to try something new. Within four weeks, they were operating from a small trailer in a front garden, serving toasties and coffee to their local community. Just two weeks later, hour-long queues had formed, with thousands of toasties being sold each week, a clear sign that something special was taking shape.
What began as an impromptu food-truck project quickly evolved into pop-ups across Dublin-area communities before expanding into multiple permanent restaurant locations. Driven by their hospitality experience and genuine love of great toasties, the founders have built a brand rooted in flavour, quality, and sustained growth.

The future of Griolladh is focused on reaching more people and continuing to share what we do best. With plans to open new locations and build on the strong momentum behind the brand, Griolladh is poised for its next phase of growth. An ever-growing and loyal fan base is driving demand, creating exciting opportunities in new markets and communities.
