Terms and Conditions for Griolladh’s TikTok Giveaway Contest as of 17 October 2024.
- Eligibility: The competition is open to participants who meet the following criteria:
- Reside in Ireland
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Are not employees of Griolladh or the Ink Factory or their affiliates, nor members of their immediate families or households.
- Follow Griolladh on TikTok
- Are willing to get a permanent tattoo
- Entry: To enter, participants must follow the instructions outlined in the Giveaway contest post on TikTok. Entry requirements include creating one TikTok video describing why they should be chosen to win free toasties for life, and tagging @Griolladh. Participants are limited to one entry per person. Multiple entries by the same participant will be disqualified. Entries that do not meet the eligibility or entry requirements, or are deemed incomplete or invalid, will be disqualified.
- Duration: The competition starts on Sunday October 20, 2024 and ends on Friday November 15, 2024 at Midnight, 00:00 (GMT). Only entries submitted before the deadline will be considered.
- Prizes: Three winners will receive a free toastie tattoo at the Ink Factory Dublin, earning them free toasties for life. As defined in the terms, the prize is non-transferable, and there will be no cash alternatives to it.
- The Tattoo: The tattoo must be on a visible part of the body. Tattoo must be a minimum size of 7.5cm x 7.5cm. Design is offered in colour or black and grey. Any alterations to the design must be agreed upon with the artist, The Ink Factory and Griolladh prior to booking. If placement is other than arms or legs, it must be agreed upon with the artist and The Ink Factory prior to booking.
- Toasties for Life: Winners can each redeem up to 100 toasties per year for each of the respective winners’ lifetimes by showing their tattoo to Griolladh staff upon ordering. “Lifetime” is defined as the duration of a person’s life. Limited to redeeming twice per week for the winner, as part of a balanced diet. Any attempt to redeem more than the allotted number of toasties per year will be rejected. In the event Griolladh ceases operations or closes all its locations, the “Toasties for Life” offer will no longer be redeemable.
- Temporary Tattoo Promotion: Griolladh customers who have heard about the competition but aren’t interested in getting a permanent tattoo can ask for a temporary tattoo transfer at participating Griolladh locations. If these people post a public video of their Griolladh tattoo to TikTok and tag @griolladh, they will receive a 15% discount on their next order. This is a once-off discount for one individual’s meal.
- Winner Selection: A total of three winners will be chosen. The winners will be selected from all eligible entries by Griolladh based on the originality and creativity of their entry. The winners will be notified by TikTok direct message within 7 days after the deadline. If a winner does not respond within 3 days, another winner will be selected.
- Publicity: Winners must participate in a photo, video, and/or film session of them receiving the tattoo, and both Griolladh and the Ink Factory have the right to use such publicity materials in any medium. By participating in the giveaway contest, the winner agrees to allow Griolladh and the Ink Factory to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional purposes without compensation. Contest entries and material submitted in connection with the contest (whether in written, audio, electronic or visual form, or any combination of those) or any photographs, video and/or film footage and/or audio recording taken of competitors become the property of Griolladh, which may use the material in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit.
- Liability: Neither Griolladh nor Ink Factory are responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to participants or their property related to their participation in the giveaway contest. Participants agree to release and hold harmless Griolladh and the Ink Factory and their affiliates from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the giveaway contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. Competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, or TikTok. All entrants are providing information directly to the Competition Sponsors and agree to release these platforms from any and all liability arising in connection with the Competition.
- Data Privacy: Personal data collected during the giveaway will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for contest administration. Participants’ data will be processed in compliance with GDPR.
- Force Majeure: Griolladh is not responsible for failure to fulfill any contest obligation due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, government restrictions, business closures or other force majeure events.
- Governing Law: The giveaway contest and these terms and conditions are governed by and construed per the laws of Ireland.
- Modification: Griolladh reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway contest without notice. Griolladh also reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.
