 Jack and Jacob (Griolladh founders) decided they wanted to sell toasties. They made a few phone calls, googled what the Gaelic was for ‘Grilled’ and within 4 weeks were pitched up in a front garden in a tiny trailer selling Toasties and Coffee.

Within 2 weeks they had hour long queues and were selling thousands of toasties a week. They decided to invest all their time and energy into making Griolladh what it is today.

Their experience in the hospitality industry, passion for creating a high quality product and, of course, love of toasties, continue to be the driving force behind Griolladh’s incredible growth.

The process

Once you’ve expressed interest in working with us, you’ll be sent an application form to fill out. If our requirements match, we will move on to the next stage together.

Meet up

We’ll then meet with you and/or your team to discuss your objectives and plans for going forward as a franchisee, and explain our model in more detail. We will follow this up by an area and site evaluation.


Once your business plan and area get the green light, you’ll then be asked to submit your financials for review.


Once finances are approved, we’ll host an interview to discuss the final agreement and requirements to launch your very own Griolladh franchise.


Once both parties have reached an agreement, the heads of terms is signed and you will pay a franchise fee deposit, which will confirm our official engagement together.


All Finances must be secured, your site approved and the lease signed.

seal the deal

Both parties sign our franchise agreement, making you an official Griolladh Franchisee. The balance of the initial franchise fee is paid on signing, and prior to opening your Griolladh store.
